Join the Nabe and support families through youth development, food security, wellness and community advocacy.

For over a century, the Nabe has been a cornerstone of southeast San Francisco, serving those most in need while welcoming everyone through its doors. Many families in Potrero Hill and Dogpatch face barriers to education, food access, and stable opportunities. The Nabe steps in where systems fall short, offering support, resources, and a place to belong.

The Nabe also serves as a welcoming hub for everyone, regardless of income or background. In addition to programs that provide targeted support for those most in need, we offer STEM activities for all children, wellness classes such as Zumba, chair yoga, and Tai Chi, and festivals and events open to everyone. At the Nabe, the whole community comes together to connect, learn, and thrive.
