Community Advocacy

In 2007, city leaders created a vision to transform public housing developments into mixed-income communities.  The Nabe has been “the voice of residents” with politicians, government agencies, and developers to ensure the availability of basic life services during re-development and to help address health, safety, relocation, and other issues stemming from heavy construction expected to last until 2030.
